Freelance photographer and photojournalist, based in Warsaw, Poland, with almost fifteen years of experience in press photography, photodocumentary and photojournalism. Long-standing cooperation with AFP – one of the largest news agencies in the World. Specialized in political news, social and religious issues, cultural events and the everyday lives of average people. Aside from news agencies and commercial contracts, Wojtek also takes part in NGO projects and outdoor campaigns as a portrait and documentary photographer. He also engages in his own artistic photography projects concentrated on illustrating key aspects of the lives of ordinary people, in the long-standing tradition of documentary photography.

2014 – present – still shots photographer at The Documentary and Feature Film Studios (WFDiF) – documentation of Teatroteka – cycle of spectacles from the border of film and theater.

2011 – 2016 – still shots photographer at Polish Public TV (TVP2)

2003 – present – Stringer photographer in Agence France Presse (AFP) – over 4200 pictures published all over the World, press publications in New York Times, International Herald Tribune, Time, Stern, Die Welt, De Standaart, Le Parisiene, Le Monde, The Epoch Times, numerous Polish Dailies (Gazeta Wyborcza, Rzeczpospolita, Fakt and many others) and Weeklies (Newsweek, Wprost and others), special request for FIFA, European Union and others.

2003 – present – photographer – cooperations with numerous Non-Government Organistions (NGOs) (Forum for Dialogue Among Nations, The Unit for Social Innovation and Reseearch – Shipyard, Taube Foundation for Jewish Life & Culture and many others).

2003 – Polish Press Photo Contest – third prize in category „Human” for documentary series Aficionados – people of corrida.

2003 – Coofounder of House of Photography Association

2001 – 2003 European Academy of Photography in Warsaw

1998 – 2009 Faculty of Geography and Regional Studies, University of Warsaw
